Exalting the Creator, the Redeemer, and the King of Glory

The Book of Psalms is a divine collection of songs inspired by the Holy Spirit — a poetic symphony of human hearts lifted to God. Among its 150 chapters, several shine as pure praise: exalting the greatness, love, and sovereignty of the Lord.

These are the Psalms of Praise and Worship — songs that lift our eyes from our struggles to the majesty of the One who reigns forever. Below is a brief meditation on each psalm in this first group.

King David marvels at the vastness of the heavens — the moon and stars — and asks, “What is man that You are mindful of him?”
This psalm celebrates the glory of God in creation and the honor He has given humanity as stewards of His world. It reminds us that every breath of praise connects us to His creative power.

Psalm 8

For the director of music. According to gittith. A psalm of David.

1 Lord, our Lord,
 how majestic is your name in all the earth!
 You have set your glory
  in the heavens.

2 Through the praise of children and infants
 you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
  to silence the foe and the avenger.

3 When I consider your heavens,
  the work of your fingers,
 the moon and the stars,
  which you have set in place,

4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
  human beings that you care for them?

5 You have made them a little lower than the angels
  and crowned them with glory and honor.

6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
  you put everything under their feet:

7 all flocks and herds,
  and the animals of the wild,

8 the birds in the sky,
  and the fish in the sea,
  all that swim the paths of the seas.

9 Lord, our Lord,
 how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Psalm 19 begins with the famous line, “The heavens declare the glory of God.” It transitions from the beauty of the sky to the perfection of God’s Word — showing that both nature and Scripture reveal His truth. A powerful balance between revelation through creation and divine instruction.

Psalm 19

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
 the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
 night after night they reveal knowledge.

3 They have no speech, they use no words;
 no sound is heard from them.

4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
 their words to the ends of the world.
 In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
 like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

6 It rises at one end of the heavens
 and makes its circuit to the other;
 nothing is deprived of its warmth.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
 refreshing the soul.
 The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
 making wise the simple.

8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
 giving joy to the heart.
 The commands of the Lord are radiant,
 giving light to the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is pure,
 enduring forever.
 The decrees of the Lord are firm,
 and all of them are righteous.

10 They are more precious than gold,
 than much pure gold;
 they are sweeter than honey,
 than honey from the honeycomb.

11 By them your servant is warned;
 in keeping them there is great reward.

12 But who can discern their own errors?
 Forgive my hidden faults.

13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
 may they not rule over me.
 Then I will be blameless,
 innocent of great transgression.

14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
 be pleasing in your sight,
 Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

This psalm paints thunder and lightning as instruments in God’s symphony. The “voice of the Lord” echoes through waters, trees, and mountains — majestic and unstoppable. It calls worshippers to recognize His power even in nature’s most fearsome moments.

Psalm 29

A psalm of David.

1 Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
 ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
 worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
 the God of glory thunders,
 the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;
 the voice of the Lord is majestic.

5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
 the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
 Sirion like a young wild ox.

7 The voice of the Lord strikes
 with flashes of lightning.

8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
 the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.

9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
 and strips the forests bare.
 And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
 the Lord is enthroned as King forever.

11 The Lord gives strength to his people;
 the Lord blesses his people with peace.

A call to “sing to the Lord a new song.” Psalm 33 celebrates the faithfulness of God’s Word and the stability of His creation. It invites every believer to trust His plans, for “the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.”

Psalm 33

1 Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;
 it is fitting for the upright to praise him.

2 Praise the Lord with the harp;
 make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.

3 Sing to him a new song;
 play skillfully, and shout for joy.

4 For the word of the Lord is right and true;
 he is faithful in all he does.

5 The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
 the earth is full of his unfailing love.

6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
 their starry host by the breath of his mouth.

7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars;
 he puts the deep into storehouses.

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;
 let all the people of the world revere him.

9 For he spoke, and it came to be;
 he commanded, and it stood firm.

10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations;
 he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.

11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
 the purposes of his heart through all generations.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
 the people he chose for his inheritance.

13 From heaven the Lord looks down
 and sees all mankind;

14 from his dwelling place he watches
 all who live on earth—

15 he who forms the hearts of all,
 who considers everything they do.

16 No king is saved by the size of his army;
 no warrior escapes by his great strength.

17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
 despite all its great strength it cannot save.

18 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
 on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,

19 to deliver them from death
 and keep them alive in famine.

20 We wait in hope for the Lord;
 he is our help and our shield.

21 In him our hearts rejoice,
 for we trust in his holy name.

22 May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
 even as we put our hope in you.

This psalm is a hymn of gratitude for God’s blessings upon the earth. It speaks of forgiveness, abundant harvests, and answered prayers. The imagery of overflowing fields and watered valleys mirrors the spiritual abundance of those who dwell near His presence.

Psalm 65

For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song.

1 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;
 to you our vows will be fulfilled.

2 You who answer prayer,
 to you all people will come.

3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,
 you forgave our transgressions.

4 Blessed are those you choose
 and bring near to live in your courts!
 We are filled with the good things of your house,
 of your holy temple.

5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
 God our Savior,
 the hope of all the ends of the earth
 and of the farthest seas,

6 who formed the mountains by your power,
 having armed yourself with strength,

7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,
 the roaring of their waves,
 and the turmoil of the nations.

8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
 where morning dawns, where evening fades,
 you call forth songs of joy.

9 You care for the land and water it;
 you enrich it abundantly.
 The streams of God are filled with water
 to provide the people with grain,
 for so you have ordained it.

10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
 you soften it with showers and bless its crops.

11 You crown the year with your bounty,
 and your carts overflow with abundance.

12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;
 the hills are clothed with gladness.

13 The meadows are covered with flocks
 and the valleys are mantled with grain;
 they shout for joy and sing.

A global invitation to worship: “Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth.” This psalm recalls the Lord’s deliverance of His people and invites all nations to witness His power. It blends personal thanksgiving with collective celebration.

Psalm 66 – Praise for God’s Mighty Acts

  1. Shout for joy to God, all the earth;

  2. sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!

  3. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!
    So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you.

  4. All the earth worships you and sings praises to you;
    they sing praises to your name.” Selah

  5. Come and see what God has done:
    he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.

  6. He turned the sea into dry land;
    they passed through the river on foot.
    There did we rejoice in him,

  7. who rules by his might forever,
    whose eyes keep watch on the nations—
    let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

  8. Bless our God, O peoples;
    let the sound of his praise be heard,

  9. who has kept our soul among the living
    and has not let our feet slip.

  10. For you, O God, have tested us;
    you have tried us as silver is tried.

  11. You brought us into the net;
    you laid a crushing burden on our backs;

  12. you let men ride over our heads;
    we went through fire and through water;
    yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance.

  13. I will come into your house with burnt offerings;
    I will perform my vows to you,

  14. that which my lips uttered
    and my mouth promised when I was in trouble.

  15. I will offer to you burnt offerings of fattened animals,
    with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams;
    I will make an offering of bulls and goats. Selah

  16. Come and hear, all you who fear God,
    and I will tell what he has done for my soul.

  17. I cried to him with my mouth,
    and high praise was on my tongue.

  18. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart,
    the Lord would not have listened.

  19. But truly God has listened;
    he has attended to the voice of my prayer.

  20. Blessed be God,
    because he has not rejected my prayer
    or removed his steadfast love from me!

A short yet profound psalm — a missionary hymn. It prays for God’s mercy and blessing, “that Your way may be known upon the earth.” It reminds us that true worship doesn’t stay within walls; it spreads His light to every nation.

Psalm 67 

  1. May God be gracious to us and bless us
    and make his face to shine upon us, Selah

  2. that your way may be known on earth,
    your saving power among all nations.

  3. Let the peoples praise you, O God;
    let all the peoples praise you!

  4. Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,
    for you judge the peoples with equity
    and guide the nations upon earth. Selah

  5. Let the peoples praise you, O God;
    let all the peoples praise you!

  6. The earth has yielded its increase;
    God, our God, shall bless us.

  7. God shall bless us;
    let all the ends of the earth fear him!

This cluster of psalms is a crescendo of global worship. They declare the Lord as King over all nations, calling the earth to rejoice. Psalm 100 concludes the sequence: “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.” Together, they form a liturgy of joy for every believer and every generation.

Psalm 96 – Worship in the Splendor of Holiness

  1. Oh sing to the Lord a new song;
    sing to the Lord, all the earth!

  2. Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
    tell of his salvation from day to day.

  3. Declare his glory among the nations,
    his marvelous works among all the peoples!

  4. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
    he is to be feared above all gods.

  5. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
    but the Lord made the heavens.

  6. Splendor and majesty are before him;
    strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

  7. Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples,
    ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!

  8. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
    bring an offering, and come into his courts!

  9. Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;
    tremble before him, all the earth!

  10. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!
    Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved;
    he will judge the peoples with equity.”

  11. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
    let the sea roar, and all that fills it;

  12. let the field exult, and everything in it!
    Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy

  13. before the Lord, for he comes,
    for he comes to judge the earth.
    He will judge the world in righteousness,
    and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Psalm 97 – The Lord Reigns

  1. The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice;
    let the many coastlands be glad!

  2. Clouds and thick darkness are all around him;
    righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

  3. Fire goes before him
    and burns up his adversaries all around.

  4. His lightnings light up the world;
    the earth sees and trembles.

  5. The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
    before the Lord of all the earth.

  6. The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
    and all the peoples see his glory.

  7. All worshipers of images are put to shame,
    who make their boast in worthless idols;
    worship him, all you gods!

  8. Zion hears and is glad,
    and the daughters of Judah rejoice,
    because of your judgments, O Lord.

  9. For you, O Lord, are most high over all the earth;
    you are exalted far above all gods.

  10. O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
    He preserves the lives of his saints;
    he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

  11. Light is sown for the righteous,
    and joy for the upright in heart.

  12. Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous,
    and give thanks to his holy name!

Psalm 98 – Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord

  1. Oh sing to the Lord a new song,
    for he has done marvelous things!
    His right hand and his holy arm
    have worked salvation for him.

  2. The Lord has made known his salvation;
    he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

  3. He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness
    to the house of Israel.
    All the ends of the earth have seen
    the salvation of our God.

  4. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
    break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

  5. Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
    with the lyre and the sound of melody!

  6. With trumpets and the sound of the horn
    make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

  7. Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
    the world and those who dwell in it!

  8. Let the rivers clap their hands;
    let the hills sing for joy together

  9. before the Lord, for he comes
    to judge the earth.
    He will judge the world with righteousness,
    and the peoples with equity.

Psalm 99 – The Lord Our God Is Holy

  1. The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble!
    He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!

  2. The Lord is great in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the peoples.

  3. Let them praise your great and awesome name!
    Holy is he!

  4. The King in his might loves justice.
    You have established equity;
    you have executed justice
    and righteousness in Jacob.

  5. Exalt the Lord our God;
    worship at his footstool!
    Holy is he!

  6. Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
    Samuel also was among those who called upon his name.
    They called to the Lord, and he answered them.

  7. In the pillar of the cloud he spoke to them;
    they kept his testimonies
    and the statute that he gave them.

  8. O Lord our God, you answered them;
    you were a forgiving God to them,
    but an avenger of their wrongdoings.

  9. Exalt the Lord our God,
    and worship at his holy mountain;
    for the Lord our God is holy!

Psalm 100 – His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

  1. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

  2. Serve the Lord with gladness!
    Come into his presence with singing!

  3. Know that the Lord, he is God!
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

  4. Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
    Give thanks to him; bless his name!

  5. For the Lord is good;
    his steadfast love endures forever,
    and his faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 103 praises God for His mercy, forgiveness, and healing. Psalm 104 expands that praise to all creation — the heavens, waters, and creatures that depend on His breath. They are paired as a song of gratitude for both spiritual and physical life.

Psalm 103 – Bless the Lord, O My Soul

  1. Bless the Lord, O my soul,
    and all that is within me, bless his holy name!

  2. Bless the Lord, O my soul,
    and forget not all his benefits,

  3. who forgives all your iniquity,
    who heals all your diseases,

  4. who redeems your life from the pit,
    who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,

  5. who satisfies you with good
    so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

  6. The Lord works righteousness
    and justice for all who are oppressed.

  7. He made known his ways to Moses,
    his acts to the people of Israel.

  8. The Lord is merciful and gracious,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

  9. He will not always chide,
    nor will he keep his anger forever.

  10. He does not deal with us according to our sins,
    nor repay us according to our iniquities.

  11. For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;

  12. as far as the east is from the west,
    so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

  13. As a father shows compassion to his children,
    so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.

  14. For he knows our frame;
    he remembers that we are dust.

  15. As for man, his days are like grass;
    he flourishes like a flower of the field;

  16. for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
    and its place knows it no more.

  17. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
    on those who fear him,
    and his righteousness to children’s children,

  18. to those who keep his covenant
    and remember to do his commandments.

  19. The Lord has established his throne in the heavens,
    and his kingdom rules over all.

  20. Bless the Lord, O you his angels,
    you mighty ones who do his word,
    obeying the voice of his word!

  21. Bless the Lord, all his hosts,
    his ministers, who do his will!

  22. Bless the Lord, all his works,
    in all places of his dominion.
    Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Psalm 104 – O Lord My God, You Are Very Great

  1. Bless the Lord, O my soul!
    O Lord my God, you are very great!
    You are clothed with splendor and majesty,

  2. covering yourself with light as with a garment,
    stretching out the heavens like a tent.

  3. He lays the beams of his chambers on the waters;
    he makes the clouds his chariot;
    he rides on the wings of the wind;

  4. he makes his messengers winds,
    his ministers a flaming fire.

  5. He set the earth on its foundations,
    so that it should never be moved.

  6. You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
    the waters stood above the mountains.

  7. At your rebuke they fled;
    at the sound of your thunder they took to flight.

  8. The mountains rose, the valleys sank down
    to the place that you appointed for them.

  9. You set a boundary that they may not pass,
    so that they might not again cover the earth.

  10. You make springs gush forth in the valleys;
    they flow between the hills;

  11. they give drink to every beast of the field;
    the wild donkeys quench their thirst.

  12. Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell;
    they sing among the branches.

  13. From your lofty abode you water the mountains;
    the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work.

  14. You cause the grass to grow for the livestock
    and plants for man to cultivate,
    that he may bring forth food from the earth

  15. and wine to gladden the heart of man,
    oil to make his face shine
    and bread to strengthen man’s heart.

  16. The trees of the Lord are watered abundantly,
    the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.

  17. In them the birds build their nests;
    the stork has her home in the fir trees.

  18. The high mountains are for the wild goats;
    the rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.

  19. He made the moon to mark the seasons;
    the sun knows its time for setting.

  20. You make darkness, and it is night,
    when all the beasts of the forest creep about.

  21. The young lions roar for their prey,
    seeking their food from God.

  22. When the sun rises, they steal away
    and lie down in their dens.

  23. Man goes out to his work
    and to his labor until the evening.

  24. O Lord, how manifold are your works!
    In wisdom have you made them all;
    the earth is full of your creatures.

  25. Here is the sea, great and wide,
    which teems with creatures innumerable,
    living things both small and great.

  26. There go the ships,
    and Leviathan, which you formed to play in it.

  27. These all look to you,
    to give them their food in due season.

  28. When you give it to them, they gather it up;
    when you open your hand, they are filled with good things.

  29. When you hide your face, they are dismayed;
    when you take away their breath, they die
    and return to their dust.

  30. When you send forth your Spirit, they are created,
    and you renew the face of the ground.

  31. May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
    may the Lord rejoice in his works,

  32. who looks on the earth and it trembles,
    who touches the mountains and they smoke!

  33. I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
    I will sing praise to my God while I have being.

  34. May my meditation be pleasing to him,
    for I rejoice in the Lord.

  35. Let sinners be consumed from the earth,
    and let the wicked be no more!
    Bless the Lord, O my soul!
    Praise the Lord!

The final section of the Psalter rises to a climax of praise. Each of these psalms begins or ends with “Hallelujah” — Praise the Lord!
They praise His greatness, His goodness to all generations, and His supremacy over heaven and earth. Psalm 150, the grand finale, calls every instrument and every living being to praise God:

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”

Psalm 145 – Great Is the Lord

  1. I will extol you, my God and King,
    and bless your name forever and ever.

  2. Every day I will bless you
    and praise your name forever and ever.

  3. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
    and his greatness is unsearchable.

  4. One generation shall commend your works to another,
    and shall declare your mighty acts.

  5. On the glorious splendor of your majesty,
    and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

  6. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds,
    and I will declare your greatness.

  7. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness
    and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.

  8. The Lord is gracious and merciful,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

  9. The Lord is good to all,
    and his mercy is over all that he has made.

  10. All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,
    and all your saints shall bless you!

  11. They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom
    and tell of your power,

  12. to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds,
    and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

  13. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
    and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

    The Lord is faithful in all his words
    and kind in all his works.

  14. The Lord upholds all who are falling
    and raises up all who are bowed down.

  15. The eyes of all look to you,
    and you give them their food in due season.

  16. You open your hand;
    you satisfy the desire of every living thing.

  17. The Lord is righteous in all his ways
    and kind in all his works.

  18. The Lord is near to all who call on him,
    to all who call on him in truth.

  19. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him;
    he also hears their cry and saves them.

  20. The Lord preserves all who love him,
    but all the wicked he will destroy.

  21. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord,
    and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever!

Psalm 146 – Put Not Your Trust in Princes

  1. Praise the Lord!
    Praise the Lord, O my soul!

  2. I will praise the Lord as long as I live;
    I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

  3. Put not your trust in princes,
    in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

  4. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
    on that very day his plans perish.

  5. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
    whose hope is in the Lord his God,

  6. who made heaven and earth,
    the sea, and all that is in them,
    who keeps faith forever;

  7. who executes justice for the oppressed,
    who gives food to the hungry.

    The Lord sets the prisoners free;

  8. the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
    The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
    the Lord loves the righteous.

  9. The Lord watches over the sojourners;
    he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
    but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.

  10. The Lord will reign forever,
    your God, O Zion, to all generations.
    Praise the Lord!

Psalm 147 – He Heals the Brokenhearted

  1. Praise the Lord!
    For it is good to sing praises to our God;
    for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.

  2. The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
    he gathers the outcasts of Israel.

  3. He heals the brokenhearted
    and binds up their wounds.

  4. He determines the number of the stars;
    he gives to all of them their names.

  5. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
    his understanding is beyond measure.

  6. The Lord lifts up the humble;
    he casts the wicked to the ground.

  7. Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving;
    make melody to our God on the lyre!

  8. He covers the heavens with clouds;
    he prepares rain for the earth;
    he makes grass grow on the hills.

  9. He gives to the beasts their food,
    and to the young ravens that cry.

  10. His delight is not in the strength of the horse,
    nor his pleasure in the legs of a man,

  11. but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him,
    in those who hope in his steadfast love.

  12. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem!
    Praise your God, O Zion!

  13. For he strengthens the bars of your gates;
    he blesses your children within you.

  14. He makes peace in your borders;

Psalm 149 – Sing to the Lord a New Song

  1. Praise the Lord!
    Sing to the Lord a new song,
    his praise in the assembly of the godly!

  2. Let Israel be glad in his Maker;
    let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!

  3. Let them praise his name with dancing,
    making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!

  4. For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
    he adorns the humble with salvation.

  5. Let the godly exult in glory;
    let them sing for joy on their beds.

  6. Let the high praises of God be in their throats
    and two-edged swords in their hands,

  7. to execute vengeance on the nations
    and punishments on the peoples,

  8. to bind their kings with chains
    and their nobles with fetters of iron,

  9. to execute on them the judgment written!

    Praise God in his sanctuary;

    praise him with strings and pipe!

  5. Praise him with sounding cymbals;
