Finding God: A Journey of Faith

The deepest yearning of the human heart is often the search for meaning, for connection, for something beyond the tangible. This quest frequently leads us to the divine, to the very source of our being – God. At the Heal in Jesus community, we believe that finding God is not a passive waiting game but an active, transformative journey rooted in faith and a sincere desire to know the Creator.

What is Needed to Search for God:

The journey begins with an open heart and a willing spirit. It requires:

  • Humility: Acknowledging our limitations and our need for a power greater than ourselves.

  • Faith: Believing in the unseen, trusting in God’s existence and His desire to be known. As Hebrews 11:6 states, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

  • Sincerity: A genuine and honest desire to connect with God, free from ulterior motives.

  • Perseverance: The path to knowing God may have its challenges, but persistence in seeking Him is crucial.

Finding God in each of us

The Process of Finding God:

Finding God in us is a deeply personal experience, yet there are common paths and practices that illuminate the way:

  • Prayer: Prayer is the lifeline of our relationship with God. It is communication – speaking to Him, listening for His guidance, expressing gratitude, and seeking forgiveness. Through consistent prayer, we cultivate intimacy with the divine and open ourselves to His will. 

  • Reading the Holy Bible: The Bible is God’s Word, His love letter to humanity. It reveals His character, His promises, His plan for salvation through Jesus Christ, and provides wisdom for living a life that honors Him. Regular reading and study of the Scriptures provide a foundation for understanding God’s ways.

  • Fasting: Fasting, when done with the right intention, is a spiritual discipline that humbles us, focuses our minds on God, and strengthens our dependence on Him rather than on earthly desires. It is a way to deny ourselves for a greater spiritual purpose.

  • Understanding Christianity: Christianity is centered on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. Understanding the core tenets of Christianity – the Trinity (God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the divinity and humanity of Jesus, His sacrificial death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, and the gift of eternal life through faith in Him – is essential to finding God within this faith tradition.

Jesus as Our Savior:

At the heart of Christianity lies the pivotal truth that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He is the Son of God who came to earth, lived a sinless life, and willingly died on the cross to atone for the sins of all humanity. His resurrection conquered death and offers us the hope of eternal life.

John 14:6 beautifully encapsulates this truth: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” Accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior is the cornerstone of a relationship with God in Christianity.

The Holy Spirit: The Living Presence of God

From a Christian perspective, the Holy Spirit is much more than a theological concept; he is a divine person, part of the Holy Trinity alongside God the Father and God the Son (Jesus Christ). He isn’t an impersonal force or an energy, but a being who thinks, feels, and acts. The Holy Spirit is how God intimately connects with us today.

The Active Presence of God

The Holy Spirit is God’s active presence in the world and in the lives of believers. If you’ve ever wondered how God continues to work today, the answer is through his Spirit. The Holy Spirit directly connects us to God, allowing us to experience his love, power, and guidance in a deeply personal way.

A Guide and Comforter

One of the most beautiful roles of the Holy Spirit is that of Guide and Comforter. When we feel lost, confused, or distressed, he is there to offer us direction, peace, and comfort. He helps us understand the Scriptures, make wise decisions, and discern God’s will for our lives. He empowers us to live a life that pleases God, giving us the strength to resist temptation and do what is right.

Feeling the power

As Jesus himself promised:

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” — John 14:26 (King James Version)

This verse emphasizes that the Holy Spirit is our divine Teacher, who reminds us of Jesus’ teachings and guides us into all truth. It’s a promise that we are not alone, but have a divine guide who empowers us to understand and live out God’s Word.

The One Who Transforms Lives

The Holy Spirit is also the agent of transformation. When a person gives their life to Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live within them. He works in our hearts, producing qualities that reflect the character of God. The Bible describes it this way:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22-23 (King James Version)

This passage is key to understanding how the Holy Spirit works on our character. It’s not a list of rules we must follow, but rather the qualities that the Spirit naturally produces in the life of a believer who surrenders to him. These gifts can vary, such as teaching, healing, prophecy, service, faith, and administration, among others. That inner feeling, often described as a hunch, a sudden intuition, or simply “a feeling,” is a universal human experience. However, for many people, it goes far beyond a mere psychological reaction; it’s perceived as the presence of the Holy Spirit or the voice of God guiding us from within.

  • Deep intuition: This is that instant “knowing,” without apparent logical explanation. It’s when you “just know” that something is right or wrong, even before you can reason it out.

  • Inner conviction: It can be a strong certainty about a decision to make, a call to act in a certain way, or a firm belief in something. It’s an impulse that moves us towards truth or good.

  • Peace or unease: Often, this guidance is felt as a deep peace and serenity when we are on the right path, or a restlessness and unease when we stray. It’s as if our inner self is alerting or confirming something to us.

The Spiritual Interpretation

For those with a faith perspective, this inner voice is not just a psychological mechanism, but a divine communication. It’s believed that the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, offering wisdom, comfort, and direction. Prayer in Jesus Name: Matthew 6 as a perfect example

Prayer in Jesus name is an important aspect of christian life, as the life of Jesus Christ is a clear and powerful testament to the indispensable value of prayer. From His baptism to His last breaths on the cross, Jesus demonstrated that prayer was not simply a ritual, but a deep and intimate connection with the Father. It was an act of complete dependence, pure love, and unconditional obedience.

Jesus: Our Model for Prayer

Even though He was the Son of God, Jesus dedicated consistent and deliberate time to prayer. The Gospels record numerous occasions when He withdrew to seek the Father’s presence, serving as an unparalleled example for us:

  • Seeking Solitude: Even with a very active ministry, Jesus would rise early to find quiet places and pray (Mark 1:35). This teaches us the importance of getting away from the noise to connect with God.

What Is Faith in Jesus?

Faith is more than just a belief; it’s a living conviction, an inner certainty that compels the soul to trust, even when our senses tell us otherwise. It’s walking on the waters of fear with our eyes fixed on the invisible, knowing that God is faithful, even when life falters.

At the heart of Christianity, faith is not an abstract idea or a fleeting emotion. It’s an intimate relationship of trust with Jesus, the foundation and perfecter of our hope. Hebrews 11:1 describes it this way: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” It’s not based on human proof, but on the faithfulness of God.

Faith That Transforms

True faith transforms. It doesn’t simply comfort us, but it compels us to live according to God’s truth. It lifts us from sin, strengthens us in the midst of pain, and guides us on paths of righteousness.   • Act in obedience: Every step of obedience nurtures faith.

Faith is the beginning of the journey, but also its sustenance. In a hurting world, where so many long for answers, faith in Jesus is the key to true healing. It’s not about denying pain, but facing it with hope. It’s not about closing our eyes, but opening our hearts to The One who can restore everything.

Recovery in Christ: Growing in Freedom and Holiness

The healing we receive in Christ is just the beginning. After being liberated by His power, we embark on a vital process of recovery and spiritual growth, where we learn to walk in our new identity. The Bible clearly teaches us:

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). True freedom isn’t just about escaping bondage; it’s about standing firm in Christ and developing a life that glorifies God every single day.

The recovery in Jesus
The healing in Jesus is strengthened during recovery.

1. Solidifying Healing: Affirmation and Resistance

Once we’ve experienced liberation, the enemy will try to sow doubt, bring temptations, and provoke setbacks. That’s why it’s crucial for us to take active steps to solidify our healing:

  • Affirm yourself in the Word: Daily declare your identity in Christ. For example, repeat: “I am free, I am holy, I am more than a conqueror in Christ.”

  • Reject lies: When thoughts of condemnation or guilt assault you, remember the undeniable truth: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).

  • Don’t underestimate the battle: Deep-rooted habits like lust, anxiety, or any other negative behavior may try to return. However, Christ has given us the power to resist. As James 4:7 says, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

2. Renewing Your Mind: Transforming Your Thoughts

Recovery involves a profound change in mindset. This renewal of your understanding is achieved intentionally:

  • Meditate on the Bible: Dedicate time each day to reflect on at least one verse that speaks of your new life in Christ. Passages like Philippians 4:8 (on what we should think about) or Galatians 5:1 (on freedom in Christ) are excellent starting points.

  • Change your influences: Be intentional about what you consume.

    • Eliminate music, movies, shows, or social media content that incite sin or promote values contrary to God.

    • Actively seek out Christian content that builds up your spirit, strengthens your faith, and guides you toward holiness.

  • Practice gratitude: Daily write down at least three things you are grateful to God for. Remembering His faithfulness will help you maintain a positive perspective and recognize His work in your life.

3. Strengthening Your Spirit: Nurture Your Relationship with God

To avoid falling back into old patterns, it’s essential that we are filled with the Holy Spirit every day. This is achieved through consistent spiritual practices:

  • Constant prayer: Don’t limit yourself to just requests. Dedicate genuine time of intimacy with God, listening to His voice and pouring out your heart before Him.

  • Regular fasting: Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that weakens the desires of the flesh and strengthens your spirit, making you more sensitive to God (Matthew 17:21).

  • Worship: Praise God at all times, even in the midst of trials. Worship has the power to break chains and free your spirit, as we see in the story of Paul and Silas in prison (Acts 16:25-26).

Community support goes a long way to recovery.

4. Walking in Community: You Are Not Alone

Recovery and spiritual growth don’t happen in isolation. We need the support and encouragement of other believers:

  • Attend a local church: Don’t stop gathering with other believers. The faith community is vital for your growth, receiving teaching, encouragement, and fellowship (Hebrews 10:25).

  • Seek an accountability group: Find brothers or sisters you can trust, with whom you can pray and be accountable for your process. Transparency is key to freedom.

  • Find mentors: Look for someone more mature in the faith who can guide you, share their experience, and pray for you.

5. Moving Toward Holiness: Your Higher Calling

God not only saves us from sin but also calls us to live in holiness. This is a continuous process that involves vigilance and decision:

  • Guard your thoughts: Every temptation begins in the mind. Learn to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

  • Flee from immorality: Do not expose yourself to risky situations that could lead you to sin. Be wise and proactive in protecting yourself (1 Corinthians 6:18).

  • Serve others: When your focus is on helping others and on the kingdom of God, you remain free from selfishness and the temptation of lust.

Recovery is a process, but be assured that God will finish the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). If you fall, get up immediately, as Proverbs 24:16 tells us: “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again.” If you feel weak, cry out to Him.

Spiritual healing through Jesus can give you complete freedom from everything that oppresses you. This includes negative influences, mental strongholds, anxieties, sexual sins like lust and promiscuity, and any other bondage that separates us from God’s holiness. As the Bible assures us:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). God doesn’t just forgive us; He transforms us. Through His power, we can be completely set free and live in the fullness of His Spirit.

Spiritual healing through Jesus
When you heal in Jesus, you find freedom and happiness.

1. Recognizing Bondages: Identify Where You Need Freedom

Before receiving healing, it’s crucial to identify the areas where the enemy has gained influence in our lives. This introspection allows us to be specific in our pursuit of freedom:

  • Negative Influences: This includes friendships, media, music, or environments that promote values contrary to God’s principles. These are currents that drag us away from His will.

  • Mental Strongholds: These are lies deeply rooted in our minds, such as “I’m worthless,” “God won’t forgive me,” or “I’ll never change.” These falsehoods limit us and prevent us from seeing the truth of who we are in Christ.

  • Anxieties and Fears: Constant worries and fears that rob us of peace, creating a cycle of restlessness that wears us down.

  • Lust and Promiscuity: Impure desires that enslave the mind and heart, diverting us from the purity God desires for us.

Remember Jesus’ promise: “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). The first step toward freedom is acknowledging the truth of our bondages.

Repentance

2. Repentance and Renunciation: The Path to Spiritual Healing

Complete spiritual healing begins with a humble heart that repents and renounces all sin. This is a powerful act of will that opens the door for God to work:

  • Confess your faults to God: The Bible assures us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Be honest and specific with Him.

  • Verbally renounce all evil influence: This is more than a thought; it’s a declaration of your will. You can pray something like:

    • “In the name of Jesus, I renounce every lie of the enemy that has distorted my identity and purpose.”

    • “I renounce lust, pornography, impure desires, and all sexual immorality, declaring my mind and body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.”

    • “I break every agreement with fear and anxiety, and I declare the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding over my mind and heart.”

    • “I renounce addictions, corruption, deceit, and any other sin that binds me and separates me from Your holiness.”

The Calling of Jesus: Love, Redemption, and Transformation

The calling of Jesus is an invitation to join our holy father through him. Jesus extends a constant invitation to you: to follow Him, surrender your life to Him, and experience His transformative love. His voice is gentle, full of grace and mercy, because He desires you to draw near to Him motivated by love. However, if you choose to ignore His call, He may allow pain to guide you to Him. This isn’t punishment, but a reality: sometimes, it’s amidst affliction that the human heart opens to deeper truth.

The Love That Calls: His Invitation to Peace

Jesus Himself declared: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

His invitation is clear and full of purpose: He loves you and longs to give you peace, a sense of direction, and eternal salvation. His call is a pure expression of His grace, an unconditional offer of forgiveness and abundant life. When you respond to His voice with faith, you experience the joy of His presence and the transformation only He can work in your life. It’s a call to freedom and a new existence.

The calling may be through pain, if the initial call does not work.

The Pain That Guides: When Affliction Brings Us Closer to God

Sometimes, human nature only recognizes its need for God in the midst of suffering. Trials, unexpected losses, or a deep existential void can become instruments God uses to draw you to Him. As Psalm 119:71 beautifully expresses: “It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes.“

God doesn’t desire suffering for its own sake, but in His infinite wisdom and love, He may allow it if necessary for a hardened heart to turn to Him. The story of Jonah is a poignant example: he deliberately fled from God, but it was in the depths of the sea and in the belly of the great fish that he cried out sincerely and was heard (Jonah 2). His experience reminds us that, even in the darkest moments, God’s purpose is restoration and repentance, not condemnation.

Following Jesus will bless you and those around you.

How to Respond to the Call of Jesus?

Responding to Jesus’ invitation is a clear and transformative path:

  • Acknowledge your need: Humbly admit that, without Christ, you are lost and without true purpose.

  • Repent of your sins: Surrender control of your life to Jesus, turning away from your old ways.

  • Accept His undeserved grace: Believe with your heart that He died for you on the cross and rose again to give you eternal and abundant life.

  • Follow Him daily: Don’t ignore His voice. Jesus’ call is continuous; live in obedience to His Word and constantly seek His presence.

Jesus is calling you today. You can respond now, moved by His perfect love, or wait until pain leads you to Him. But why delay? His mercy is immensely great and His love is perfect. Don’t harden your heart! As Hebrews 3:15 exhorts us: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.“

The Story of Jesus: Our Savior

The life of Jesus of Nazareth is the most powerful and transformative story ever told. He wasn’t merely a great teacher or a prophet; He was the very Son of God, who came to Earth driven by immense love for humanity. He is the heart of our faith and the hope of millions.

Birth of Jesus

The Miracle of His Birth and Early Years

It all begins with a divine promise, centuries before it happened. A little over two thousand years ago, in the humble village of Nazareth, a pure-hearted young virgin named Mary received a visit from an angel. The message was astonishing: by the power of the Holy Spirit, she would conceive a son whom she would name Jesus, and He would be nothing less than the Savior of the world. Her fiancé, Joseph, a righteous and God-fearing man, accepted this mystery after an angel also revealed the divine plan to him in a dream.

Birth in Bethlehem and Adoration

Jesus wasn’t born in a palace, but in the most humble of places: a manger in Bethlehem. There was no room for them in any inn. Imagine that scene! Surrounded by animals, in the quiet of the night, the King of Kings entered the world.

  • The Shepherds: Humble shepherds were the first to worship Him, guided by angels who filled the night sky singing: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests!”

  • The Magi: Later, mysterious Magi from the East, wise men guided by a miraculous star, arrived to pay Him homage. They offered gold, frankincense, and myrrh, recognizing Him as King, as God, and as the one who would die to give us life.

Flight to Egypt and Growth in Nazareth

Soon after His birth, Jesus’ family had to flee to Egypt to escape the cruel King Herod, who, filled with jealousy, ordered the killing of all male children in Bethlehem. But God protected them. After Herod’s death, they returned and settled in Nazareth, where Jesus grew up. Even as a child, it was clear He was special; at twelve years old, He astonished the teachers in the Temple in Jerusalem with His wisdom and understanding of the Scriptures.

Jesus leaves to Egypt

The Beginning of His Divine and Public Mission

Jesus lived a simple, hidden life until He was about thirty years old. It was then that His cousin, John the Baptist, a prophet filled with the Spirit, baptized Him in the Jordan River. This is where the life of Jesus started to take shape as the son of God.

Baptism and Temptation

This moment marked the beginning of His public ministry:

  • The Baptism of Jesus: When Jesus came out of the water, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in the form of a dove. A majestic voice, the voice of God the Father, resonated from heaven: “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” It was the divine confirmation of His identity and mission.

  • The Temptations in the Desert: Immediately afterward, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert, where He spent forty days and nights, fasting and being tempted by the devil. However, Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, resisted every trial, showing us that we can overcome evil and temptation with divine help.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

His Profound Teachings and Powerful Miracles

With an authority no one had ever seen before, Jesus began traveling through towns and cities. He preached the Good News of the Kingdom of God, teaching in synagogues, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, and wherever people gathered.

The Heart of His Message

Jesus’ message was clear and revolutionary, centered on:

  • Love: Loving God with all our being and our neighbor as ourselves.

  • Forgiveness: The need to forgive those who offend us and to seek God’s forgiveness.

  • Humility: The importance of serving and putting oneself last.

  • Justice: Seeking God’s will in all our actions.

  • Trust in God: Unwavering faith in the providence and love of the heavenly Father.

His teachings were often presented in parables, simple stories with deep meanings that invited reflection and transformation.

The Miracles That Demonstrated His Divine Power

Jesus’ words were accompanied by astonishing miracles, which not only showed His divinity but also His immense compassion for those who suffered:

  • Healings: He healed the blind, paralytics, lepers, and people with all kinds of diseases, freeing them from pain and affliction.

  • Deliverances: He cast out demons, freeing people oppressed by evil spirits and demonstrating His authority over the forces of darkness.

  • Resurrections: He brought back to life Jairus’ daughter, the widow of Nain’s son, and His dear friend Lazarus, proving that He is Lord even over death itself.

  • Control over Nature: He walked on the turbulent waters of the Sea of Galilee, calmed storms with a single word, and multiplied a few loaves and fish to feed thousands of hungry people.

Jesus called twelve disciples to accompany Him closely, learn directly from Him, and eventually continue His mission. These men, many of them simple fishermen, became the pillars upon which the Church would be built.

As the time drew near, Jesus resolutely headed to Jerusalem, knowing the purpose for which He had come. His entry into the city was triumphant, acclaimed by the crowd, but only a few days later, everything would change.

The Last Supper and the Betrayal

  • The Last Supper: He celebrated Passover with His disciples in what we know as the Last Supper. There, He instituted the Holy Communion, a perpetual reminder of His body given and His blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins.

  • Judas’s Betrayal: That same night, He was betrayed by one of His own disciples, Judas Iscariot, handed over for only a few silver coins.

The Unjust Trial and the Crucifixion

Jesus was arrested and subjected to unjust trials, first before the Jewish religious authorities and then before the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate. Although Pilate found no fault in Him, he yielded to the pressure of the crowd. The people, incited by the religious leaders, shouted, “Crucify him!”

Jesus was brutally scourged and then forced to carry His own cross to Calvary (or Golgotha). There, He was nailed to the cross, an unthinkable sacrifice. On the cross, Jesus, the sinless Son of God, took upon Himself all our sins, our guilt, and the punishment we deserved. His death was not a defeat, but the greatest and most supreme act of love in the history of humanity—the perfect sacrifice so that you and I could have forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life. His last words before giving up His spirit were: “It is finished,” meaning that the work of redemption was complete.

The Glorious Resurrection and Ascension

But the story of the life of Jesus doesn’t end with death and the cross. By no means! Three days after His crucifixion, the tomb was completely empty! Jesus had risen! He conquered death, sin, and the power of Satan, proving that He is truly who He said He was: the Lord of life.

  • Appearances: For forty days, Jesus appeared to His disciples and hundreds of others, ate with them, taught them, and gave them irrefutable proof of His resurrection.

  • The Great Commission: He commanded them to go into all the world and preach the gospel, making disciples of all nations.

  • Ascension: Finally, before the eyes of His disciples, Jesus ascended into heaven, where, according to the Bible, He sits at the right hand of God the Father. The Blood of Jesus is the reason christians can achieve salvation and eternal life.

The life of Jesus, as we find it in the Gospels, is a personal invitation to each of us. He came so that we may have life, and life in abundance. His story calls us to believe in Him, to repent of our sins, and to live a life that glorifies Him. It is a message of hope that continues to transform lives worldwide.

A Journey of the Heart: Finding God Through Jesus Christ

Spiritual guidance for a better life. The human heart is often described as a restless traveler, searching for a home it can never quite reach. This deep-seated longing for something more, for a sense of purpose and belonging, is a universal experience. For many, this journey is a spiritual one—a quest to find God. And for millions around the world, the path to that divine encounter is illuminated by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Spiritual guidance towards this goal is not about following a rigid set of rules, but about nurturing a relationship. It is a journey of the heart, a transformation from the inside out, guided by grace and a commitment to seeking a deeper truth.

This is not a weakness; it is a sign of your spirit reaching out. Jesus himself spoke to this longing, saying, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” (Matthew 5:6). Your desire to seek is the very invitation you’ve been waiting for.

2. The Guide: Encountering Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is not just a historical figure or a moral teacher; he is the central figure in this spiritual journey. The Bible presents him as the “way, the truth, and the life,” and his life serves as the ultimate map. To find God through Jesus means to engage with who he was and what he did.

  • Read the Gospels: Begin with the New Testament books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are eyewitness accounts of Jesus’s life, his teachings, his miracles, and his ultimate sacrifice. As you read, don’t just see the words on the page; try to encounter the person they describe.   • Pray: Prayer is not a one-way communication but a conversation. Speak to God honestly and openly. A simple prayer can be powerful: “Jesus, if you are real, show me who you are.” This prayer of sincerity is the seed from which faith often grows.

The church is not a building, but a body of people united by a common faith, a place where you can experience God’s love through others.

     

  • Service: The greatest testament to a transformed heart is a life of service. Jesus taught that to find your life, you must lose it—in service to others. By extending kindness, compassion, and help to those around you, you are living out the very love that Jesus demonstrated. In serving others, you often find that you are serving God.

Be open to a life of purpose, and inner peace.

4. The Goal: A Relationship, Not a Religion

Ultimately, the goal of this spiritual journey is not to join a religion but to enter into a personal and living relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is a relationship of love, trust, and intimacy. It means knowing that you are deeply loved, forgiven, and have a purpose.

This journey is a marathon, not a sprint. There will be moments of doubt, times of struggle, and seasons where God feels distant. But in those moments, remember the promise: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7).
